Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch, aka MCA, has died at the age of 47. The Beastie Boys had their studio in Atwater Village in the 1990's. It was called G-Son ("Gilson" with missing letters) after a sign at 3218 1/2 Glendale Blvd.
