As part of its mission to promote participation in city governance and decision-making, the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council will host a forum for candidates in the race for Los Angeles City Council’s fourth district seat. Open to the public and press, this forum will provide residents and businesses with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on a number of issues important to the neighborhood and city as a whole.
The forum will be moderated by LA Weekly Deputy Editor Jill Stewart. Ms. Stewart will draw on her years of experience in print and broadcast journalism to pose questions covering a range of local and citywide issues. Following the formal question and answer period, members of the public will have an opportunity to ask the candidates questions directly.
